Natural Born Citizen – A Place to Ask Questions and Get the Right Answers

Wishful Reality

Oh, how we wear the mantle of self-righteousness and conceit.
Oh, how we spin our tales of professing to know that only one purity of knowledge that is Truth.
And, oh, how we all cling together in bondage to such wishful reality.
Why not give truth a chance to flourish?
Why suppress that which may be?
What do we gain?
Or is it more, what we may lose?
Are we not better off in knowing that which really is rather than knowing that which we wish it is?
Should we not be indebted to truth rather than to some unspoken loyalty to some unknown thing?

  1. I feel like we are living in a parallel world Mr. Appuzo. Since when is a website the arbiter of what is truth? An unnamed unsworn faceless organization can determine that our president is qualified? (not that he would be anyway).

  7. Do you know how long until a decision comes? I sure hope the court decides not shelf the decision for a month before releasing it.

  9. As time passes I'm probably not alone in worrying that Kirchner/Apuzzo has been quieted by a power no longer constrained by the constitution they don't respect. Confusion about the details of constitutional interpretation isn't surprising. The concrete notion of a birth certificate is easier to grasp than the attempt to ferret allegiances by constraining parentage. But silence will be confirmation that, as Donofrio asserted, our legal system, the the individual freedoms it was created to defend, has been overthrown.
